I hope this finds you well, safe, and as sane as you can manage in this time of fear and social isolation. Hubs and I are healthy, rattled by the constant stream of bad news, but comforted by hearing from friends and family via Zoom, Skype, Facetime, etc.
My sewing machine broke several months ago, and I donated almost all my sewing supplies, thinking I’d never need them again. Silly me. So—my first attempt at hand-sewing a face mask from old dish towels was not great. And–I have no elastic in the house. Next up: no-sew masks cut from old T-shirts.
My daily walk helps take the edge off. So does reading lots and lots of romance novels. That guaranteed HEA is what I need to calm my frazzled nerves. Right now I’m reading Get a Life, Chloe Brown, by Talia Hibbert. Delightful!
