On this day set aside to celebrate female friendship, here’s my love letter to my readers.

I’m so honored and blessed to share my love of romance fiction with so many wonderful, witty, wise, and generous authors and readers. So thank you from the bottom of my mushy, romance-y heart for being one of the good ones, the readers who don’t give up on love and hope and joy even when the world outside is a raging, smelly dumpster fire.
I celebrate you, I appreciate you, I love you. Mwah!
Creative Cross Training
Sometimes, in times of stress, my muse becomes grumpy and taciturn. One thing that helps get my creative juices flowing again is plunging into a different kind of creative project, one where there’s no pressure to be particularly good at it.
Y’all know I play ukulele and guitar, and I’m not winning any Grammys out here! Learning a new instrument later in life just takes longer, but making music brings me joy. I’ve even started taking voice lessons, something I wanted to do for years but never got around to. Turns out I’m a mezzo soprano, not an alto. Who’da thunk it?
And since joining our community art club, I’ve had the chance to try all kinds of artistic and crafty projects. It’s weird and wonderful–when I’m working on an art project, I’m not thinking about anything else. Have you experienced that?
